This office was first opened in April of 2001, starting out no permanent rental or sales listings (opening up a brand new office) and initially trading as David Preston Real Estate. In those early days David Preston earned a solid reputation in delivering results for owners and personal attention for owners that chose to manage or sell their property through this office. 

David commenced his real estate career in 1990, back then every Agent took their own photos and advertising. These days most Agents don't feel its their job instead often asking for photo contributions from owners as well as marketing fees. On the other hand, We strive to market properties as best we can. We go to extreme lengths to showcase them, using quality cameras and lighting to produce the best possible images, using Photoshop and other photo programs to ensure they offer the best viewing experience online and in promotional material. If you want professional looking photos and even a floor plan then these can be done using our equipment however there is a minor fee for the photo processing which is done offshore. Floor plans as well can be provided, minor fee at cost, no charge for our time to do so, just let us know.

Whilst the majority of offices charge extras for quality property photography and aerial imaging looks at these of being a complimentary service for properties under management. Its the same with online advertising where real estate.com rental ad listing fees this past year (2025) have jumped by 70%, we are one of the few Agents that absorbs this cost. There are also no additional costs for end of month statements, financial year statements or anything else. There are some sundry charges when it comes to NCAT and intensive renovation costs, however this doesn't happen with most properties.

In 2017 due to change in drone laws we became proficient drone operators and where possible we try to include one aerial for online advertising, however due to our light weight equipment we only choose to fly in light winds. We use light (however expensive) equipment to avoid annual accreditation and rigorous licence testing. In some areas closer to the airport flight path we are restricted to fly so we have to respect that.
